ANDREW MELTZER
Hello, I’m Andrew Meltzer, a wandering barman who’s been shaking up the beverage industry for 15 years. I got my start at an Atlanta brewpub, led the team at a destination cocktail bar (15 Romolo) and opened one of San Francisco’s most talked about restaurants (Noosh). In 2019 I made a move to Europe to explore my British heritage and share my passion for flavor and hospitality.
After years of competing in cocktail competitions I was crowned the Diageo World Class US Bartender of the Year, opening the door for me to teach cocktail classes and mentor rising stars. I’m deeply rooted in the bar community and proudly served as President of the US Bartenders' Guild (San Francisco Chapter), where I spent five years organizing seminars and charitable events. I love sharing my experiences and learnings, and make regular appearances on television, radio, print and podcasts.
I currently live in London, England, consulting on bar programs and developing innovative spirits brands. I’m available to teach masterclasses, manage brand activations and mix tasty cocktails at private events. My expertise includes wine and spirits tasting, recipe development, alcohol-free cocktails and food & beverage pairing. I'm an avid home chef and fermentation geek who enjoys natural wine and, of course, ice cold Daiquiris.
